Hey Mates

Hope all is well

So I have a DM800+nds3 Sky Italia Card and a Smargo Card Reader+ also running Nabilosat Blackhole

1) I Have uploaded the Smargo Drivers to the decoder and installed them, is there a way to make sure dm800 is reading the smargo?

2) Am running CCcam 2.1.0, does anyone have the tested config for my card to work without melting

Thanks in advance

Yes I Have Thanks, i cant get that file because the forum isnt allowing me to register, can I find it somewhere else?

You have made this post so you are registered and can just click on the link to download the file to your computer

Hey Thanks

I am trying to download, this file:

however its not letting me Register on the forum

Also, does anyone have the proper CCcam config for the card

Thanks

SERIAL READER : /dev/usb/tts/0 smartreader+

SMARTCARD CLOCK FREQUENCY: /dev/tts/0 xxx0000

You need to add these 2 lines to your config, nothing else if all else has been set up.
Where xxx is I think your required to run at 353, anything higher could fry your card. Please double check my info but Im sure its ok. My NDS2 card runs in the smargo with this config with xxx being 686,

Thanks

and this file please:

Here's the smargo setup software.

Ok so I think i have everytin set...uploaded drivers and installed, set smargo kernel for dreambox, edited boot file and running CCcam 2.1.0

Can someone please confirm this is the good config:

#softcamfile#

SOFTKEY FILE : /etc/SoftCam.Key

AUTOROLL FILE : /etc/AutoRoll.Key

STATIC CW FILE : /etc/constant.cw

CAID PRIO FILE : /etc/CCcam.prio

PROVIDERINFO FILE : /etc/CCcam.providers

CHANNELINFO FILE : /etc/CCcam.channelinfo

LOGWARNINGS : /tmp/warnings.txt5500000

EXTRA EMM LEVEL : yes

SERIAL READER : /dev/usb/tts/0 smartreader+
SERIAL READER : /dev/usb/tts/1 smartreader+
SMARTCARD CLOCK FREQUENCY: /dev/sci0 3430000
SMARTCARD CLOCK FREQUENCY: /dev/sci1 3430000

Thanks

Ok , all those lines setting the paths to the key files are not needed as they are all set by default.

Next, you are setting up 2 smargo's on /dev/usb/tts0 and tts1 but then you are setting the clock speed for the 2 internal readers. I think you are intending to set the clock speed of your smargos and not the internals. Also, the 800 only has one internal reader.

A typical NDS3 config would look something like this...

Code:
SERVER LISTEN PORT : 12345
SERIAL READER : /dev/usb/tts/0 smartreader+
SMARTCARD CLOCK FREQUENCY : /dev/usb/tts/0 3430000

F:
C:

F:
C:

Thanks
Can you please tell me what the last part should be...I would like to set the clockspeed for both usb1 and usb2 so in whichever port its I want i have problems

Thanks

I've added it above since you replied mate.

Thanks

I did this:

SERIAL READER : /dev/usb/tts/0
SERIAL READER : /dev/usb/tts/1
SMARTCARD CLOCK FREQUENCY : /dev/usb/tts/0 3430000
SMARTCARD CLOCK FREQUENCY : /dev/usb/tts/1 3430000

However nowhere is it specified that Im using smartreader+, is it necessary, is the config good?

Thanks

yeah you need it. Sorry I missed it out. I keep doing that ! I've editing the sample above to show it.

No Problem your instant, well good info is appreciated
So, I should be fine with this:

SERIAL READER : /dev/usb/tts/0 smartreader+
SERIAL READER : /dev/usb/tts/1 smartreader+
SMARTCARD CLOCK FREQUENCY : /dev/usb/tts/0 3430000
SMARTCARD CLOCK FREQUENCY : /dev/usb/tts/1 3430000

Hi again

Finally Had a go at inserting the card with the Smargo but no luck, on CCcam Info page/ entitlements, nothing is being read. Is there a way to make sure Dreambox is reading Smargo, maybe true Telnet?

Thanks

Does the little light illuminate on the bottom of the smargo?

Yes It Does...How does the card need to be inserted

Thanks mates

Mine does not work straight from bootup either, to get it working just remove the smargo and then re insert it. Then it works. Check your entitleents with CCcam info
