Ok What about starting again from scratch, Do this to the letter and it works.

Download the Smargo Driver for Nabilo BlackHole & DB800 (Nabilosat E2)

This pack is autoinstall in the your db 800 (Make sure to set the attributes to 755)

Restart Enigma2

Edit the file bootup in the folder /ect/init.d

you add:

echo 90 > /proc/progress
modprobe ftdi_sio

Set the cccam.cfg :

SERIAL READER : /dev/usb/tts/0 smartreader+

SMARTCARD CLOCK FREQUENCY: /dev/tts/0 XXX0000

What I also notice is...when smargo is in dm800 alone, constant green light, when Sky Card is in, green light flashes every 3 seconds but in CCcam info/entitlements, nothing is read ...

Thanks

Thanks...tried it...dm800 still not decoding card and entitlements says nothing inserted

What I also notice is...when smargo is in dm800 alone, constant green light, when Sky Card is in, green light flashes every 3 seconds but in CCcam info/entitlements, nothing is read ...

also, when i put in my smargo in laptop and updated with reader.exe this is what i did:

Mode:Automatic
Kernel: Dreambox
t-mode: T=0
EGT=0

What I also notice is...when smargo is in dm800 alone, constant green light, when Sky Card is in, green light flashes every 3 seconds but in CCcam info/entitlements, nothing is read ..

Are you getting a confirmation when you save the kernel as Dreambox. I spent about 10 days in limbo thinking I had done everything correct. Trouble was that even though my vista pc ran the smartreader program it would not save the changes I made. I ran it in an XP machine and you get a confirmation when you change to dreambox mode.

Hmm Thanks will try on an XP machine tonight and let you know

Thanks

Tried on XP...updated successfully, however nothing...which way must d arrow of the cardbe pointed...upwars where there is the smargo logo or the other way...running out of ideas....

Start with fresh mind.
Follow these instruction and it will work as long as you have set the smargo correctly to use a dreambox on your pc.

Smargo Driver for Nabilo BlackHole & DB800 (Nabilosat E2)

This pack is autoinstall in the your db 800

Restart Enigma2

Edit the file bootup in the folder /ect/init.d

SERIAL READER : /dev/usb/tts/0 smartreader+

SMARTCARD CLOCK FREQUENCY: /dev/tts/0 XXX0000

REGARDS ^^corrado^^

This is from corrado on Nabilo board, I followed this instruction and it worked at the first attempt.

Use the smargo nab,gz file already posted http://www.satellites.co.uk/satellite/831129-post1.html
