dm800 remote control problem

can anyone suggest why i need to stand next to the dm800 receiver before it get a response. i had, in times past a patched version of nabilo (very old) wher I had this problem. Then I downloaded a patched version of nabilo 0.11 and all was suddenly perfect. Now I have gone to a patched version of nabilo 0.12 and its back to the same problem. can anyone identify the drivers i need to load for this image
