Hi guys,

I'm currently using a normal DM800 box, with a smargo reader plugged in as well, as this autosenses the needed voltage by the provider card.
The new DM800 SE has 2 internal card readers, but does anyone know if they both are 5v only, or they do autosense? Will I need the smargo reader on the new box, to prevent "frying" the card? :)

Hope someone has some good information on this.

I am not so sure it was ever proved that the Internal Reader of the DM800 was damaging the Cards :-Nooo

My Card was in there and it did get hot and discoloured, but that was due to the heat generated by the Tuner Module, they do get scorchio.

Anyway, whatever, use the Smargo, dont bother with the Internal Reader, in fact if you are getting into Multiple DMs its about time you looked at an Ubuntu :)

And of course the Smargo would of use in that project
