dm800 view over internet

hi there is there a way to view my dm800 over the interenet without having my home pc turned on? i have opened ports and can acess the dreambox centroll centre from my workplace and change channels. but when i click on the stream button i get nothing but a "page cannot be dispalyed page" on ie .. i am running the nablosat black hole image v0.10 and can view dm perfectly over my lan... i am using vlc player the same as home so i know this is not the problem, i have read tutorials on how to stream to internet and have had it working something like but you have to have your pc running all the time which i dont like the idea of while i am at work... Thanks to anyone that can help....

Basically, unless you have a super quick upload speed on your BB connection, forget about it.

The reason that VLC needs to be run on your PC at home is so that it compresses the stream before its uploaded. The dreambox is just not capable of doing the compression itself.

Get hold of a Slingbox.
I use this internationally and control the Dreambox via my laptop.
I get decent video at streaming at rates as low as 350kb plus you you don't need your pc on.
