DM8000HD - recording to DVD

My Satellite Setup
DM8000HD, motorized dish, 1.5tb HDD & Sony DVD slot-in D/L drive.
My Location
Berkshire
Hi guys,
just tried to record to DVD for the first time, and it fails!

Recorded a programme onto the PVR,
press menu,
select Burn to DVD,
programme starts with a green line at the top of the picture then says the DM has encountered a software problem and needs to be restarted in 10 seconds.

It doesn't make any difference if there is a DVD disc in the machine or not.

I am using Nabilostat Black Hole.

I think nabilo is your problem. Although it works for some it doesnt work for all. Im in the same position as you. But if i use an oozoon image it works for me no probs!!
 
Are Nabilo not going to fix this, or patch it?

So changing the image is the only way?
Was my method for burning to DVD correct though?

Before you go all the way to changing the image, just try a different skin. I'm sure I've read previously its a skin issue.

Oh ok, what's the best way to change the skin? I can do that via the DM?
Hope it's straight forward and i can easily choose the new skin...
(novice! tut!!)
