Hi,

I've just recently started using my DM800HD again and the remote is very worn, lots of the keys are worn and you have to press some very firmly to get them to function.

I want a replacement but my current is a clone and does not include the functionality to control the TV (I remember reading somewhere that some of the clone remotes, especially earlier ones, didn't have this functionality programmed so would never work). I've tried with several TVs and none have worked so just assumed this was the case for mine.

Can anyone recommend somewhere to get a replacement that will also control the TV? There's some cheap ones on eBay but i'm not sure if they will do what I want.

Buy from PRC, costs 10 EUR, they are all programmable now.
 
In clone commanders, as you indicate, you have the 2 models, some are the same as the original and others are not worth to control the TV, on the outside are the same.
See if indicated in announcing that controls the TV.

Normally the command that you can repair it easily.
Simply dirty contacts, fallen or liquid fat fingers.
Carefully remove (do not forget the screw where are the batteries).
Clean silicone keys above also, the last, the party making the connection with the plate.
Also clean the plate with care.

Use rubbing alcohol (waste leaves the wound).

Close carefully and it works for another season.
If they respond slowly keys, change the batteries.

En mandos de clon, como indicas, tienes los 2 modelos, unos son iguales que el original y otros no valen para controlar la TV, por fuera son iguales.
Mira si indica en el anuncia que controla la TV.

Normalmente el mando que tienes lo puedes reparar facilmente.
Solo tiene sucios los contactos, liquidos caidos o la grasa de los dedos.
Desmontar con cuidado (no olvides el tornillo donde estan las baterias).
Limpia las teclas de silicona por arriba tambien, lo ultimo, la parte que hace la conexion con la placa.
Limpia tambien la placa con mucho cuidado.

Usa alcohol de quemar (no deja los residuos que el de las heridas).

Cierra con cuidado y ya funciona para otra temporada.
Si responden las teclas lentamente, cambia las pilas.

Buy 10 for friends, 4 do not support TV monitor, outside are identical, the motherboard is different and has no solution.
Report before the bottom two rows of keys tapeworms, currently are 3 rows, but similar function in DB800S-HD original/clone.
The silver (2 rows of keys) controls are hard to find, almost all black with 3 rows of keys.

Compre 10 para los amigos, 4 no soportan controlar TV, por fuera son identicos, la placa base es distinta y no tiene solucion.
Indicar que antes en la parte inferior tenias 2 filas de teclas, actualmente son 3 filas, pero funcionan similar en las DB800S-HD original/clon.
Los mandos color plata (2 filas de teclas) son dificiles de encontrar, casi todos negros con las 3 filas de teclas.
 
I have seen DM800HD remotes on that well known auction site for as little as £5 all in.

I've had a few myself and to be totally honest they work as well as the original.

I'll risk one off eBay, if it doesn't control the TV at least I'll have a remote that works first time.
