dm800se sparkling dots

My Satellite Setup
dm800se clone w/320gb hdd (DreamboxUK image) + skybox f3 + old dm500s
zone 2 on 28.2e
My Location
Ireland
i have sparkling dots on the screen when i plug in the dm800se via HDMI, but via scart they aren't there...
any ideas what this is?

Have you tried a different resolution/HDMI cable/HDMI socket? Can you post a picture?

tried 720p and a different HDMI socket... don't have another cable to hand but will try it tomorrow... could it be interference from another socket on the back of the dm800se?

edit: found another HDMI cable.. sorted.. scared the shite outta me as i got it back from repair today and didn't wanna have to send it back....

It helped me sort an old but similar problem.
I replaced the HDMI cable, and bingo, no whilte spots on the images.
