Dmyco v8 meter firmware

Does anyone have more up to date firmware for a Dmyco V8 meter? (Mine is Dec 2017)

The Dmyco website is long defunct & GTMedia firmware wont go on despite it being the same size is the original bin.


Ive messaged their facebook page so lets see if anything useful comes out of it.
 
Ah interesting - yes the Dec 2018 firmware has gone on fine.

So now Ive got a Dymeco iBravebox :-rofl2

Ijust copied the ibravebox flash - (the top one on that list) onto a usb stick and used the upgrade in Tools . No changes made to the flash name or anything. If your meter is set up with all your transmponders just do the main firmware upgrade, not the full one or it will wipe all your setup completely, and back up your data before you start just in case

the option usb upgraded its not activated i check several usb formats. i dont know...
 
It wont activate unless you have the right file. The iBravebox one worked for me. The GT one I tried earlier gave the greyed out no upgrade possible. I used the iBravebox 4/12/2018 on on the site linked above on my Dymeco.

yes if i turn off/on with menu pushed appear upgrade usb but not begin to upgrade maybe is the file name.

Freesat & GTMedia appears to be the same company - possibly forced to rebrand due to the Freesat tv service in the UK.
 
Mine is dmyco and no way to upgrade even i found i file DMYCO V8 Finder 20181224 but also doesnt works then i think i will remain with the version

Post an image or two of your finder, front/back and the screenshot of the panel with the h/w information

I will have to check later, but from memory the software version does not change between updates, only the date stamp. The two offered with the iBravebox site releases are from 2018.

Are you unzipping the files into the root folder of the USB stick ?
