As River Song would say - "Spoilers"! So don't read further if you haven't seen their swan-song episode.

Well, another cracking episode scripted by Steven Moffat. Featuring the best villains of modern times - the Weeping Angels i- t was a corker. Full of little bits that fans really appreciate - the baby angel blowing out Rory's match anyone? - it delivered a satisfying mid-season finale.

The placing of Rory and Amy in a fixed time point and surrounded by time turbulations that the Tardis cannot get through (except it did during the story!) Steven put the companions safely but securely out of the current timeline. It can, of course, be broken by a writer (viz Rose on the parallel Earth) if needed, it serves to close their current story line.

Roll on the Christmas episode.

The current series is terrible. Matt doesnt cut the mustard as the doctor for me and the writing isnt very good.


Stone angels - didnt anyone think to push them over and make them shatter?? Or take a sledgehammer to them :D

And what happened to the "they move when you blink" storyline? - Amy blinked at least 4 times prior to being evaporized and nowt happened.

Ah....the Analoguesat 'how to dispose of a VU+ Duo' method.....have weeping angels got crappy software too???
