Is it just me or does the slogan that the BBC are pushing at the moment Africa Lives on the BBC not make the BBC sound very conceited and full of themselves.

Telling us of the 1000 languages and however many nations then proclaiming that they all live on the BBC seems to go a bit beyond their normal extremely confident self promotion.

Maybe I'm making too much of this.

i think they mean by watching and contributing to live8 then africa will be saved,and you can watch it live and exclusive on the bbc.thats where they should send the licence fee,then they really would live off the bbc
