Does MR 1o7 lock up on hotbird 13E?

Had probs with imy technomate 5500 and MR can with 1070 on it since I got it a few weeks ago, thought it was the reciever after cam has been swapped 3 times, but now it locks on hotbird on 13East
Is it the MR 1070 or the reciever?
I get the "module inserted, initializing _ not running or scrambled" on screen at same time.

make your receivers off from main...make on again without cam...insert your MR into second slot...evrything will be allright.

Tried it, but does'nt make any difference, it still locks up :(
 
Are you intialising on a FTA channel, lejizz?

yea i start on a FTa switch off and start on a FTA, i have even started on FTA, switched off , took cam out switched on again (FTA) swiched off, inserted cam switched on (FTA) then waited for it to initialize, goto a scrambled channel and it's ok for about 20 mins to 2 hours, then i get the ol "Module is inserted, initialising, etc..."

I have tried to work out how to put 10.60 on, but can't make head nor tail of it all.

I have bought an Infinity USB Phoenix and 2 fun6 cards, and have managed to eventually find a toe zip with 3 files , these are
mr1060_1024_1.hex 360kb
mr1060_1024_2.hex 111kb
mr1060.upd 167kb


I have put the new Infinity USB software ( 1.46 1403 build) onto my pc.
There are 3 boxes
Flash
Int. EEprom
Ext. EEprom

Do I put the same 3 files on both the fun6 cards, and what goes where?, or do I have to download something else? (links or PM me please).

Once i've done it, I should be fine, and if I ever do it, I will do an Idiots Guide, so that even I can understand it :D

Also how do i put keys into my tm5500

sorry mate iv never used fun cards i use cas2.
someone will help you on here keep looking
try your cam in the other slot on your recever
on a FTA chan sorry i car'nt help with fun cards

i had same prob mate - and i have a TM5500 DACI

i reverted back to 1.060 and its been fine ever since...people tried telling me 1.070 is fine, but it aint with a TM 5500 DACI\CI - u need to suss the programming of your CAM, cos 1.060 really will fix your problem (make sure its in bottom slot also)

use a mates laptop to prog it, thats what i use, but it has to use PCIC PCMCIA mode (16 bit - old style mode) 32 bit cardbus slots wont recognise the CAM at all.
 
I have reloaded to 1080.

I do not get the full lockup , BUT i do get the initialising banner come up and the pic freezes for a second, but then carries on ok.
