Sunday morning at 2.00am is the end of British Summer Time BST so we all in the UK can have an extra hour in bed U-zzzU-zzz

Just fell out of bed ...having had my extra hour ..
Looked outside the window ...and couldn't see the join ..
British Winter and British Summer haven't been that much different for some years now ..
Winters milder than when I was a kid ..
..and British Summers practically non existant..
IMO might as well scrap the idea of seasons ..they no longer define anything.

Me too!! I found 6 minutes a week with a sunshower works much better than the daylight lamps, of course it carries much more risk, owing to lack of funding ATM will have to revert back

i dont understand,why only europe change the time,and other continents not!

in the beginning of the time change the plan was,that we all should save engergy ,and light,when the people go earlier to bed,when its dark out side,but exactly the diffrence happen!

here the weather is crazy,last week we have very cold,minus 10 in the morning and maybe 7 on day time!

currencly we have foehn,and very hot on day time,over 15 degrees,until next 5 days,blue sky no rain,but very cold air!
 
US changes.....they give the meaningless title 'daylight saving time.' So, how do you save daylight and what do you do with it? Put in a bottle and sell it back to us?

Believe me ...they would if they could....
certainly they aren't above 'stealing time' from us ...
I'll report back on how that feels when I reach pensionable age and still haven't retired..
