I thought it was just me but it seems to be affecting a number of people.

When pressing "submit" to post a message on the forums, the site sometimes doesn't acknowledge that it has really been posted. Pressing the second time will acknowledge it but this will result in a double post.

Can one of the admins look into this? (And fix the crooked text in the toolbar?)

I'll message Chris to have a look, he's the only one with the right access.:)

If Chris is a Christine I may be interested in the right access. Otherwise forget it.

Xenforo have released an update which could fix this bug will apply the upgrade later.

Don't know if it's fixed the double post problem but at least we have a proper search box back.

Can I piggy-back on to this with a problem that has appeared since I last logged in on Thursday. I habitually open unread posts using Control-click which opens up a new tab. I work my way through the list and build up a load of tabs to look at consecutively.

Only now it doesn't. Control-click opens a new window, the same as Shift-click does. It's a right PITA as I can't build up a list of posts to look at.

I hope that this is an unintended consequence of something else as if it's supposed to be an improvement it categorically isn't. It needs fixing pronto.

Hi Paul,

Ctrl+click still opens a new tab for me. What if you right click on the link and open new tab (I am talking about Chrome here) - will that work?

The forum software will not stop the right click working.

Control-click (not right click) works fine on other sites. It's only this one and it's only recent. Coincidence?

Right click in IE11 doesn't present me with an option to open a new tab unfortunately. But that would still be twice the number of clicks that I'm used to having to make.

Works on mine Paul, just tested on Chrome and IE11, ctrl click opens thread in another tab.

I'll close the browser and restart, see if that makes a difference. Having said that I didn't close the browser between it working properly and then not.

Well, closing the browser and reopening sorted the problem. But why should it have happened at all? And why did it only present itself here? I still think something changed here at the end of last week and my browser, as it had been in hibernation, missed out on the change.

I have a problem now, I uploaded a jpg picture to the jokes forum but it will not display

The issue with the site not responding when posting is still there. Evident on Tapatalk as well as on a desktop... Sounds more like a server issue than software.

I too have suffered along the the lines outlined by Alex ..
..and like Him I just Ignored it and put it down to my connection ..
