Dr Brian Cox - New show starts tomorrow :)

One of my favourite Presenters ..begins his new show tomorrow on BBC2
Masters of the Universe.
If its even half as good as his first offering its gonna be worth a watch ..
Most of the content will no doubt be regurgitated info already known to universe enthusiasts.
Non the less Brian Cox presents with such enthusiasm and passion for his subject ..that he makes you feel like its all new and exciting..
Personally I'm certainly going to be glued to the box at 9pm sunday.
Like the good doctor ..I to am passionate about the subject material.
I certainly hope its a winner..

He does however deserve his full title ..and rightly so.
Local lad done good I think .
I belive he was born in the Bolton area ..and served his time in Salford ..
Just up the road from me.

Watched the show and I thought it was pretty good.

It gave me a warm comforting feeling to know that in 10 to the power 100 years time that all matter will have evaporated into photons and the universe will be completely dark!

Brians Presentation skills were as usual impressive.
There is true passion there ...and his ability to make even the inevitable end to the universe as we know it a thing of great beauty.
My regret if any is that purely from a personal standpoint.
..I can't be around to witness the final curtain call.
Probably not even around for the first footfall on Mars..

I deposited my 1p in an intergalactic bank ..with compound interest some years ago ..
Sadly I suspect I won't be able to hitch-hike my way to Milliways for the main event.

With nobody around to tell, dark may not be dark.

Photons are not likely to be the last things in the universe either (they are only electromagnetic afterall), other smaller particles, including those not yet discovered or understood - gravity waves ? - are probably going to keep going long after the lights go out.
