Both were excellent programmes by the way, nice of the BBC to double the length of Sir Patrick's 700th outing.

(His dentures do make him look like Hartley Hare though)

Programming such as last nights ...imo ..justifies the license fee..
Well done BBC ..
Beats the crap out of endless programmes on the finer points of preparing 'yer dinner..
..which appears to be in vogue at the moment.

Oh well ...
the 4 part series is over ...and it's just left me aching for more ...
Absolutely brilliant ...particularly tonights final homage to the story of the universe.
This is the sort of inspirational TV that's all too infrequent on our screens ..
Well done BBC ...
..and as usual ..Well done prof Cox ..
Your passion for the subject is seriously infectious.
Beautifully presented ..and I even learned a few things I didn't already know ..along the way.
a justified 10 out of 10 imo

Prof Cox didn't mention the Ultra deep field (the revisit a couple of years later). You can continue enlarging to the heart's content and there's still stuff in view.
