Dragon Cam Irdeto Pairing?

Can this be done?

I know dragon can pair NDS cards... can it do irdeto?

Im trying to find a way to use my Ad sports card in another box, my signal on the humax is very low!

But on other recievers its very strong
 
Dragon Cams can no longer pair the Sky cards, since the white card was released.
It is a multi cam so should be capable of reading most cards. Is the AD Sports card paired to their own receiver?

The cards are paired to the reciever yeh :( and the reciever has a really weak tuner!

Trying to find a way to get it to work elsewhere
 
If it's paired then I doubt it will work in the Dragon Cam, official support for this cam ended sometime ago.
You could check if it will work in the old DIablo 2.3 cam or the new Diablo 2 cam, they have dedicated Horizon files that is used for just using the cam as a card reader, but I doubt that they have the ability to match the pairing process, for this card, as they still haven't been able to sort out the new Sky card.
I think your best bet might be using a Linux based receiver.
Try a web search to see what other subscribers are using.

Do you think that the card would work in a linux based recviever? If so how hard a process would it be to make it work? I dont have any linux recievers that support HD.

I think you are correct and that is what my satlelite guy thinks to
 
Because Linux is mostly open software you might find some files that will work with these cards, after all if they can do it with Sky they should work with these, Try an internet search to see if anyone is using a Linux based receiver, most likely a dreambox.
