Hi All,

I purchased and programmed a dragon cam / loader with Dynamite. IT was successfully programmed with Firmware 304. Just b4 installation I found that my (Samsung Recv. 8500 ) did not have a CI slot built in). Then i called my provider who replaced it with a OPENTEL ODS4000 CIV which had 2 CI slots.
My problem is the receiver did not detect the cam .WHY ??
Can anyone help....this is driving me mental !!

Bootloader on receiver is 1.04
Main S/W is 01.21
Do I need to upgrade receiver software? ( ODS4000civ )
If so how do i do it ?????

Hi blackcat2,
the Dragon Cam has not been tested on all receivers and there may be a problem with some. I am not familiar with your receiver, but have read other people experiencing problems, and in a lot of cases updating their receivers firmware did solve them.
You could try your receivers web site or hopefully someone with your receiver and the Dragon Cam can shed some light on the problem.

I have just sent the manufacturer / support team a mail to help me with my problem.
I also found similar softwares on their website but the Model did not fit perfectly thats why i am waiting for feedback.

Mine is ODS 4000 CIV ( 2 CI slots )
Software available was ODS 4000 CI ( 2 CI slots )

is it the same type....anyone know about this ??
