There is a new Gemini 4 version, why do you want to flash with Gemini 3 ?
Download it and only then try to proceed with flashing the Gemini 4 image.

Unplug the power cord
Shut down PC and 500S.
It is highly recommended that you disconnect all cables (LNB coax, Power, Scart, RCA, Ethernet) and use only the Null Modem cable to connect to RS-232 connectors between 500S and PC.

Switch on PC and start the DreamUp application.

Forget gemini and install Nabilo with MGcamd1.25 and I bet your problem will be solved for ever.

Are you using a null modem cable or did you use the LAN method? If null modem cable, just flash it again.
If not, buy a null modem cable and do it that way (see The Guide for more details).

It's pretty hard to kill a Dreambox- whatever image you use.

how can i know the installed Gemini's version on my Dm500S ? and is there a website where i can download the latest Images? like official website for Nabilo or Gemini.

any advices will be appreciated.
