Dreambox 500-S stream to TV over LAN wont work :(

I got my DB on a LAN, i am trying to watch DB on my PC but it's not working.
I installed VLC and i am able to connect to the DB IP from firefox but cant get to stream the video to my PC.

ive read guides but i always get stuck at some point and it wont work.

Can U specify where do you get stuck..need more info.
 
You need to download WEB-X-TV for firefox and install it. this should start your web T.V and once you start Enigma Web Interface you will find WEB-X-TV Button on the top left next to EPG click on it and it should start.
 
Same problem here, installed many versions of VLC. I'm now running version 8.6f when I click on WEB-x-tv I get a message "no video" even though I can change the channels.

On the streaming settings I ticked all the options available.

Any ideas?
 
When you install VLC you need to tick the ActiveX / Web option. I can't remember the exact phrase but search should find it as it's been asked before and often this problem is caused by not installing VLC correctly.

It also works better with Firefox I seem to remember. And Welcome to the forum :)
 
That's fine, When you see (no video) this means that you're there, not all the channels will work all the time. Keep trying and then you have one of the streams working. I got the same situation.
