Dreambox 500 worth the money?

Hi,

I've noticed some of the official dm sites have discontinued the dm500.

I'm thinking of buying a starter box, but was wondering if it's worth going for an upgrade, so far the prices for originalsI've seen are as follows: (pounds)-

500 - 179
600-225
7020-around 300

Personally, I'm thinking of buying the 500, but thought I'd ask you guys how long it's likely to be supported and useable for...

It´s a good starter, the 500.

If You stay away from Gemini I think You can try a clone, they usually work as good as the original and can be found for 50.

It´s Linux operated and it works fine, using soft cams.

Well worth the money, if you are going for a DM500 at £179 I would cough up the extra few pounds and get a DM600.

You had better have a lot of free time if you intend starting to play with Dreamboxes
