*Some* DB500's have bery poor quality power supplies in them. All you can do is try it and see. If it doesnt work very well you know what the problem is.

In my experience yes they do but not very well and certainly not with STAB motors
The best motors working on the 500 seem to be motek or manhattan usals motors they seem reliable but its the power rating of the power supply you ideally need 1.3amp or more

Done a couple of 500's with Technomate 2200 DISEqC motors and all was ok.
