Dreambox 500HD stopped working

Hi Helpers,my dreambox 500hd was working fine, after not being used for couple of days,but was always left switched on, it stopped decoding channels ?It would still bring up the channel list, but when pressed button to display channel, it just showed a blank screen but did show channel details at bottom of screen as it always had done.I've tried the usual "switch off for short period to reboot box" but it goes through first few reboot items, then freezes on "Starting E2" screen.Any ideas ?Thanks.Mark.

Are you using a paid-for Card Share?

yes,i think the ethernet signal comes from usa.i have checked with another user who is set up the same,and gets signal from same source, and his box is working fine still.

In that case we cant help you - any problems at all to do with commercial card shares are absolutely forbidden on this forum.

I thought we'd changed the Registration messages to highlight certain rules?

Doesn't seem to be having the desired effect.
