Will a DreamBox 500s work with USALS as that is what my motor is setup to use.

Yes, it will do gotoX (aka usals) if you can get enough power out of the lnb connector to drive the motor.

Personally I find USALS to be the best option for Dreambox 500/600/800 motor setups (when using Diseqc motors of course).

Many 500 clones dont have good enough power supplies to drive motors!
