Dreambox 500s probability dead

Hello all
Yesterday I've done factory reset to my dreambox and all its done well, I tried to scan for Satellites and all again done well everything had work good.After an hour I had tried to scan another Satellite and while the dreambox scanned, had block.I've was waiting 20minutes but nothing happens.After that I switch off the power and the dreambox got restart.
No I see only the Boot screen who is blinking and nothing else !
Can you help me guys ? FTP and Telnet is work.Can I do factory reset with telnet or FTP.

Try reflashing the software using dreamup and a null modem cable if the receiver will not start.

If its just locked up and the reflash doesn't sort it, then its more likely that part of the hardware has failed. Throw it away and buy another one. Its not worth repairing when you can get a new one for as little as £40 (€50 approx)
