dreambox 7020 screen distorted after flash

hi all i have a problem with my dm 7020 i tried to flash a new image to
it and now it will boot up with the image title screen which is fine but
then after that when it boots into the image properly the screen is all
funny lines and distorted images.

i loaded pli jade 3 image (which i had on previously when it was
working) again onto the box and this happened have tried darkstar 2,
peterpan, as well and its the same

i can flash the box fine just when it starts up the screen goes funny like
there is something major wrong does this mean the box is bricked or is
it the power supply, tuner or does it need an old gemini image loading
back on can anyone help me as i am running out of ideas

ps also can someone also explain jtagging to me and bootloaders and can enigma 2 images be used on a 7020 as i am not quite upto to speed on these issues

Jtagging is a way of recovering a box which is bricked. A cable is used to connect a pc direct to pins on the receiver main board and a loader programme is used to send a clean firmware image across to the box

Enigma 2 images are for later series boxes 7025's etc and cannot be used on 7020's.

what is considered as the box being bricked?

Are you sure the problem lies with the Box?

Symptoms might also suggest an issue with the interface between box and TV.

Remove and reseat all connectors?

tried two different tv's different scarts and component cables still the same
