I have a 1 meter ant looking at Astra 28.2 and dream box dm800hd. I have a subscription with canalsat.
All works fine but once a month the system stops descrambling the paid channels. I have to use another non dreambox receiver for half an hour and then it comes back. I then plug the subscription card back into the dreambox and it works fine again for about a month.
Anyone have an idea what is going on.
Please help.
 
Your card just needs an update from the space (that you have paid about the subscription) every month. If your card isn't receiving this update, it stops unscrambling the channels. That is why it's working again after those few hours, when card is updated on other receiver.

Yes that is what I thought also- what can be done about the updating issue on the DM800??
