dreambox 8000 info needed

i am considering getting a dreambox 8000,my question is what is available if only using cams,cards,and emulators,because i do not know anything about CS.would it be a worthwhile purchase.thanks

Well any HD stb has to be worthwhile if only for the experience but the days of emu's cams and cards are numbered I am afraid, all encryptions have tightened up in the last couple of years and the only one open now is 1 deg West where a card change has already taken place and could go black any time. Even if you were experienced with C/S it is suspected that most providers have latched on tothe c/s rings and are actively seeking the introduction of counter measures this includes Sky UK.
