its now coming to light that the tuner on the dm800 HD is faulty and its because of two factorys in china that have caused the problem. i bought my DM800 hd pvrs from NEXTBAY and from day one i have had problems tried everything and now i contacted a man in north wales who is very helpful and also contacted the supplier to find out what the probem is he then telephoned me with a working solution (new tuner for £28.99) get it on tuesday so will post further info as it progress's if you want to know his http i will ask if it is ok to post.

Did this actually fix your problem, I have DM800 with tuner Rev-J, and glitching quite bad at times

I am guessing from the price that this is a clone tuner. Does anyone have a view on if this would work well in an original with tuner issues?

I swapped out the tuners in my original and clone and both worked flawlessly
I have DM800 clone and I have a tuner problem,
for me it seems more like software problem cause when I go on positioner setup I manage to bring the SNR at a higher percentage and the freezing goes.
I store it but when I change satellite it goes back to the previous percentage and freezes again
Does any of you have same problem?
