How strong is the tuner on a Dreambox 500, compared to a Sky Pace box 430N. In Kyrenia i am getting 24/7 on the Beebs and ITV 1, I have been looking at the Setanta Channel and getting Picture break ups in certain hours of the Day, Has a Dreambox 500 got a stronger Tuner ?.

I doubt it, they are renowned for their lack of tuner sensitivity.

very bad tuner for canary islands.... BBC and ITV nothing in the night.

They aren't all bad. The 500s with the Alps tuner is far more sensitive, in fact I would say it was comparable with the 430 though not as good as a 2600.

Just to answer the last bit of your question - I wouldn't go as far as to say the tuner is stronger than the 430.
