My Satellite Setup
Dreambox 7000s 60 gig segate hard drive
Finaly i got my dish set up well sort of
thor 1w hotbird and astra
My dreambox is secondhand im not sure wht image i hve already loaded
How can i find out wht image i have
once i know i understand i can ftp to the db add emus and keys please someone point me in the right dir wht folders to upload to

Go into the Menu, then Info.

What Picture (Logo) do you see when you power on. It should tell you. Maybe you have Gemeni

Yes . you should see some picture on screen for a few seconds.
 
When you power dreambox up, from a power off or hard reboot, there is a picture on TV screen for a few seconds......different images have different pictures.

Its sounds quite recent anyway and has included front processor upgrade to 1.5.

Basic image so. You can flash latest gemeni on so.
 
so to use emus keys etc i need to flash a new image?
If so what good working image do you suggest?

Yes.

Try the latest Gemini image.
 
Spoofer, read the manual and then go o ut and try them all out, as simple as that. Gemini seems to be an easy one, but you get to Dreamers and three opinions about what image to use. Make sure you get a lan cable and null modem cable ready for any case (if you got a 5620)
