my dreambox loses ip.I put the right one ,save it but the dreambox can't save it.What can I do?

dreambox 500 and I think the image is startgate

500s or 500hd? No idea which image you are refering to either.

If you look through the menu you will find a selection called information. Once your in that click on about and it should tell you which image you are running.

you might need to assign the DM a static IP in your router so it keeps the same IP

Exactly what i was going to suggest :-idea

Unfortunately if we don't know what image it is, i.e E1 or E2 its just going to confuse matters when trying to explain how to actually do it
