dreambox streaming?

can anyone help me?
i have tried to view whats on my dreambox via dream tv, but the picture keeps freezing as if there isn't enough bandwidth ( its a wired network) any ideas because im pulling my hair out!!! i have tried vlc which wont play at all, and tuxvision which is the same as dream tv.

Sorry, I use Macs and they stream OK over wireless.

Can't think of any reason other that the bandwidth use - are other PCs connected and using the Internet at the same time?
 
you tryed vcl with fire fox
 
I had the same problem - i.e. very low speed and no streaming. Apparently their is a hardware problem with 7020s relating to network. Anyway, I corrected to some extend the issue by choosing "Network fix" under the Expert Setup menu item of my Dreambox. This might help you.
 
I think the problem is the router.Try it straight to you pc.I have the same problem with a linksys but works great to my pc.
 
i av same problem try lowering vlc steam speeds :rolleyes: in engima in zap settings
 
thanks guys sorted the streaming from dreambox to pc, now how do i stream from pc to dreambox?
 
its the revese yu stream vlc to box through vlc try klonas place good instructions there on it :D

can you post how u managed to stream from the box to pc through the router?.Port forwarding or something?I am trying through my linksys but no luck.
 
all i did was tick the network fix option in expert settings. this solved the pixilation problem.
