Everytime I try to send my bouqet channels over to dm800 it gives me error:

What should I do?

I tried to telnet and run the command killall enigma2 but didnt help
 
Are you saying the box does not restart when given the killall command ?

If so then try doing it from the web interface instead. Put this command into your web browser

http://dreamboxip/web/powerstate?newstate=3
Where dreamboxip is the lan ip address of your Dreambox. This will restart the box.
 
right guys!!!

im startin to get really p155ed off with dbedit!

am i doin somert wrong! as sometimes i come to tx the info to the box and it goes and runs 1st time, but other times i need to send it loads before it will take.(inc reload) no settings altered and nothinhg different done!!! is it just me????

by the way its not the box or anything like that, have tried 6 different box's on a reg basis and sometimes 1st go, other times 4-5 goes

but sometimes it works like a charm and makes a lier otut of me! lol

is there something im missing???


plus killall command does sod all from dbedit! (on en1 machines)

killall command sometimes works! the whole thing is temprimental at times!
 
Hi Folks,

Way back with my DM7000S, (currently Gemini 4.70 image in FlashWizard Multi-boot) I found that if I clicked the 'Reload settings' button once, the settings did not 'take'. So I tried clicking it twice and haven't had a failure since. Now I just automatically click it, wait for it to complete the reload, then click it again. When complete for the second time, I check Dreambox and it's always OK.

The second 'Reload settings' always takes far longer to complete than the first! Don't know if that means anything??

No. I have the same problem with both a 7000 and a 7025. Sometimes it will connect first time and then other times it takes many attempts. No rhyme or reason why :(
 
is there any other software than dreamboxedit we can use to organize bouqet channelist etc?
 
DreamboxEdit went open source and became OpenDBEdit 3.0.6.
However, there are similar problems with that.
 
I use "dreamset" which is available in x64 version as well...
