DTH platform for Slovenia
Several local reports indicate that Slovenia will shortly have its own dedicated DTH platform named Total TV Slovenija. Distributed by Eutelsat W2 at 16 degrees East, it will offer a wide variety of local and international channels including Pop TV, Kanal A, TV3 Slovenija, Sport Klub Slovenija, Discovery, Nat Geo and Viasat-branded services in four programme packages. New Television Insider assumes the new platform will be a localised version of Serbia’s Total TV, which is operated by the leading Serbian cable company SBB and has been available in Slovenia for some time.
