I know it's an old thread but there have been new developments.. Apparently the government has approved to expand the DTT system quite considerably.. In the first stage (I have no idea when), Channel 23 and Channel 24, plus the Russian language Channel 9 will be added.. Then in the next stages HD channels and some new private channels including an Arabic one.. Does anyone have any more info on when we will start seeing changes? Also is it possible to use a Slingbox in Israel? Any connections with a good enough upload speed for that?
