Does anyone know if sat receivers are available in the airport duty free?
Mainly interested in dreamboxes,and yes I know you can get them in deira district but its my wife passing through and she will be in transit,and so not able to get out.Grateful for any info.

I have been tempted to buy electrical goods from Dubai, but refrained. What happens if you get home and the product is faulty. It will be a very expensive return!
 
They sell many electronic items but I haven't seen any Satellite Reciever there.

Friend of mine bought a DVD player and found the system is not compatible here. It is expensive to change the system here and he had to send it back to a friend in Dubai as a gift. No refund available!
