Hello, I have strange issues in my Duo4KSE. My terrestrial tuner behaves like receiving poor signal quality. Freezing, squares.... almost on every channels.
Obviously I checked for all possible reasons without finding nothing to fix.
Connectors, cables, also signal quality using a meter. Signal is very good, in fact I have no problem with every other TVs or receivers connected to my terrestrial system. So the problem seems caused by the internal tuner into the box.
Please note that I have no issues using the second satellite tuner in the same receiver, so the problem is only for terrestrial section.
What do you think? Must I replace the tuner? Thanks.

Have you checked the terrestrial.xml file, in etc/tuxbox?
What image are you running?
Are these FTA, free To Air channels?

I'm running OpenATV 7.1 now, but I tested Openvix 6 too and the issue was always there.
Only FTA channels, no encryption.
What can I check in terrestrial.xml file? Thanks.

A little less analogue, and a lot more crap.

You might have too much signal for the tuner. Try an attenuator of 6dB to start with.

Have you tried a known working TV (or receiver) on the aerial connection point the VU+ is using and vice versa?

The terrestrial.xml file contains the information for scanning, check that your region is entered, otherwise you might be picking up a different transmitter, with lower power.
Have you checked the signal quality readings, on your receiver?
Go online, to the website, type in your postcode and see which transmitter, and details, you're supposed to pick up.
