For me the good weather started last weekend, in the Lake District - and it held all week. Gorgeous.

No satellite stuff for the moment (aside from a 43cm minidish that was on the house already), Samsung SyncMaster T27B550 Smart TV & Monitor, and a few computers...

Was out in the back shed today, it's mouldy as heck out there (inherited shed, part of the uncle's house, owned by someone who is about as DIY oriented as Jeremy Clarkson), even my power tools were looking pretty rank, but after cleaning them off I managed to get them to start up, the oil in the 4 stroke engines felt thick though (given the shed felt like a freezer, it's hardly surprising!), didn't do much else though, the grass is still asleep so no need to do any gardening as yet... :)

Last Monday was a lovely sunny day, this week has been a grey overcast cold wind affair........ At least it's stayed dry, that's my "glass half full" take on it so far.

I shall be Ringing in a Peal Attempt of 7 Minor Methods at Kirby Hill in a couple of hours time.

Anyone who has the slightest idea what that means is clearly one of us.

My fence is ok, but woke up to a flood in my dining room, by the back door. :-( the wind was so strong last night it had pushed the bottom of the door, just enough to let in the rain water.

Covered half of the wooden floor in water. Now I have my dehumidifier running flat out, finished mopping it all up now.

So it looks like I have a few more jobs to get dun.

Makes a change to be able to say this when storms & bad weather strikes the UK but its been a lovely day up here. It rained overnight, but the sun has been shining all day.

And now the flooring is bubbling up :-(
