DVB-S2 signal reception

Skystar USB HD, Eurobird 9A, 1.86 Core 2 Duo

Wondering if DVB-S2 signal requires bigger dish than DVB-S due to modulation, because i receive DVB-S2 signal a little weak than DVB-S.
 
Yes, S2 can be much harder to receive. Spot on dish alignment will also be critical.
 
Thanks, i was expecting some improvements regarding reception in DVB-S2 :-DOH2
 
The improvements are usually in transmission efficiency (better use of bandwidth). Reception will depend on how well your tuner and demodulator copes with the DVB-S2 format. Some are better than others.
