DVD regions

So I'm up and running but wondering about stg... Does nabilo image provide region-free DVD playback?
Read region 2 DVD yesterday, no probs but what will happen if I play region 1? Don't want to try it for fear of region locking the drive.
Let me know if any of you have had a go at that yet. Cheers.
 
I'll try it when i get round to it. I've got loads of R1 DVD's from the early days.

I played R1 DVDs no problem.
I don't think it is region locked.
