I recorder the catastrophe series on E4 I think it was and the amount of ads on it were nothing ordinary so I fail to see how they are losing money. I must calculate it, but I would say that at least 1/3 of those shows were ads. I hate recording stuff with ads, but this has been the worst I have ever seen.
If you think that is bad, if you want to watch any Irish channel on satellite you have to subscribe to Sly, what the hell are we paying them a licence for then? But on a serious note, Sly as we know charge about double for a FTA channel to be on their EPG, like everything to do with Sly the government is to blame for allowing this situation to be the case. Money talks and that is what you see all the time with Sly and their crafty schemes.
