Looks like we have lost these two also, I guess they must be on 2D only(?).
They were the Irish downlinks,

Not gone forever. Gone to 12.480 V,27500,2/3. I can pick it up on my 3m in Limassol.Includes ch4,ch4+1.more 4,e4+1.
Had a few phone calls today from distressed customers,looks like Larnaca needs a 3.8/4.2m to receive these.
 
Thanks. On my 2.4m dish I get the 12480V channels for only an hour or two in the late afternoon, confirming what you say about the need for a bigger (e.g. 4.2m) dish. If I was going to invest in a dish that size I'd be able to get 2D anyway! Why is the 12480 transponder so weak compared to the other 2A/2B transponders I wonder? Which satellite is it actually transmitted from, and which beam (N or S)?

2A North - which you would know if you had read the post in that link that satelliteman gave you in post #2. :)

So do you get the 12.402v ITV channels in the afternoon when the 12.480v is working?

Yes, although the 12402 is a bit stronger,
