hi ive just been given a echostar d-2510IP what can i ecpect to receive with this and is ther a way of unlocking encrypted channels with it
 
Echostar d-2510IP can't be patched so it gets FTA channels only. You could buy a Diablo cam to get a few more channels.

It is a very old box, good in its day, but far better choices on the market today.

Most channels are completely secure these days, the only real avenue available is card sharing which is being clamped down on all the time, if you want guaranteed viewing I suggest you buy a subscription, the days of cheap TV viewing are numbered
