My Satellite Setup
Gibertini 100cm, STAB HH120, Inverto BU 0.2dB, Laminas 120, Moteck SG2100A, Inverto Premium 0.2dB.
TBS 5925, Edision OsMio 4K plus, AZbox Premium HD+, pc AMD FX8350 ram 32Gb. IQMonitor Pro, EBS Pro, Crazyscan, DvbDream, VLC and PotPlayer.

Hello, I'm going to buy an Edision OsMio 4K+ (Plus), but I wanted to know if this box can handle 4:2:2 signals, all DVB-S2X feeds (any kind of FEC), has a good image quality. May I record as a PVR, using an extrernal USB memory ? Who already has got this unit, can make a list of PROs and CONs ?

for the question concerning 4.2.2.
clear answer: no!
no current receiver for the public can see the broadcasts 4.2.2.
alone with an openwebif stream you can see its 4.2.2 broadcast on the PC

I also have an Azbox HD Premium+ and I could see the 4:2:2 signals (it was the only one), but now I need a 4K and DVB-S2X. And I have a TBS 5925, I can use with the (future) Edision.
 
I would like to buy a 4K receiver that has DVB-S2X. I am not bothered about 4:2:2.
I think at least one of the VU range should do it.
I need to look around to see if an Octagon 4K can do DVB-S2X.
