Hi, I am using two Edision primo IP S2 receivers since about 4 months or so. The main reason is for me the T2-MI reception on 40 and 53 East (C-Band) plus all other streams that now are present at C-Band like on 10 degrees East while on Ku-Band (separate dish) the French, Italian and other streams can be viewed. A few remarks and questions: 1. As far as I understand Kodi will never work because the receiver has too little memory. I lack the technical knowledge to confirm yhis but I've seen this stated on other fora more than once. 2. In the info sheet it says "15000 channels TV & Radio programmable" but in reality I can do blindscans until I've got somewhere around 3000 TV stations (enough for one used for the C-Band) but the other one for Ku-Band stops adding channels after there's around that number in it's database. Is that your experience too or am I doing something wrong? 3. Certain streams like TV Castilla-La Mancha on Hispasat that was received without any problems on the Octagon sf4008 cannot be received with this receiver. BUT... for the Octagon it was necessary to enter all data manually to receive this transponder while as far as I can discover I cannot enter any specific details for scanning into the Edision primo receiver. Or can I? The extremely limited manual leaflet seems to give far less information than the receiver actually is capable of. 4. Can anyone tell me how to find and a enter IPTV stations in this thingy? I used to use my Xtrend ET 9500 successfully for this and edited the data with the E-Channelizer settings editor but this doesn't appear to work the same way with this one. I can by modifying the inlog parameters reach the Edision to move and alter sat channels but so far had no success with IPTV. Given the fact that IP is the first thing mentioned in the name of the receiver it's rather odd that I haven't been able to use that aspect of it yet. I'd be most interested to learn much more about this receiver and therefore to get in contact with other users to be able to exchange further experiences with it.
