I will look tonight after workDoes anyone have an old LNB: dual band (9.75/10.6 or 9.75/10.75) single polarization, to associate with a mechanical polarotor?
I need it to carry out tests on an EGIS mount.
no need for a high-performance model (norsat) but rather an antique from the 2000s.
71800 burgondy /bourgogne franceFor Sale - Old Stylee Full band LNB - I shall say zis only once. Co-rotors/Mechanical polariser or OMT systems only.
Spanking new (old stock) California Amplifier full band LNB (dual voltage, so no 22kHz switching) £30 plus whatever postage it takes to get to you safely. A couple of sites suggest these work outside the bands, but no guarantees.www.satellites.co.uk
Need to know your zip cide for a shipping cost, the issue is going to be the export documentation as I ran into simiilar last month for France.
this kind of lnb had 9750 and 10750 mhz as local oscillator
to switch band it s 14/18V .
i drawn a special card to manage this .
for me wide band and full band is equal .
now the upper LO is 10600 but for me it s ok .
Will arrange it tonightyes , of course !
i ll send you postage price on paypal.

That looks like a soviet made reflector, do you have the make/model ?
I had the opportunity to buy a 140 cm prime focus, I made an adaptation to mount it on the EGIS engine.

The particularity of this AZ-EL motor is that the number of pulses is proportional to the displacement (100 pulses in AZ - 400 pulses in EL). I can therefore calculate with great precision the position of all the sats. Initialization is tricky but you only have to do it once on the installation. I chose to have the AZ index = 9000 (like 90°) due south, and the EL index = 18000 at this point (maximum elevation).
To obtain these values precisely, the two counters must be initialized to a precise value when searching for the origins. These values are defined by one or two tests:
1-after having performed the AZ and EL origin searches.
2-we choose a SAT almost due south (9°E for me) we start the positioning.
3-of course we will not obtain a good result on the first try.
4-we adjust AZ and EL manually to have maximum reception.
5-we calculate the difference between the index obtained and the pre-calculated one, this difference will be applied to the offset value in dial8b6.
6-we redo step 1 and step 2 should be perfect.
no ! no sticker no model name , it s second hand equipment taken out of the attic .That looks like a soviet made reflector, do you have the make/model ?
