encryped control panel

how do i get the new encryped panel to work? press the green button and says that path var/etc/cpanel.xml.encrypted cannot be found. have renamed cpanel.xml to cpanel.xml.encrypted and changed attributes to 755 but now says xml parse error. help!!!!:-HB
 
Hi Richard,

Is the Dreambox connected to the internet?
If yes, have you downloaded the latest control panel?
(Green button...Hydra Setup..OK....Download Latest Control Panel..OK...then exit out of all menus...green again and try some downloads).

If above does not work then:-

Is the image in flash or multiboot?
If it is in flash, did you do a 'flash erase' after installation?

I have used Poseidon & Phoenix (in USB multiboot) and Dreambox internet access via a router. The control panel has always worked OK if updated as above every time you want to use it (on a new day).

Let's know how you get on?
