as previously said i will get hold of the gears that BTNSAT aka "cowboy company from spain " is selling in europe for fringe area reception using a very badly done pirate encrypted rebroadcasting system thru intelsat 24,5ºwest,please find some pictures i toke from the system as a refrence i had BBC2 ,in the next posts i will add more infos and details of the scam...best regards

and anthoer company has started up trying to push this system over east and south europe...uktvdirect....google it and see how professional thier web site is!!!

the most striking thing i saw was the switch of BBC2 from a broken feed (see previous pictures)to a (nearly)perfect one the switch was made around 19:00 CET ,looks like they have various points of transmission

i forgot to make a comment about the receiver ..just one word "CRAP",if you see the backside picture it has no scart nor hdmi and the video quality is just SH**,in my tests i used a Cuberevo 3000HD ,kathrein UFS910(best video signal) and as shown in my fotos TT3200 pci satcard

Receivers are not so cheap in china as you believe.

The cheapest one, based on ali 3329C chip (globo 4000C clone), is around $12 in orders 500pcs or more.

What CAM version did you use to read the card on the TT3200,then the Cuberevo and Kathrein?

I would have thought that if an overseas broadcaster has the local broadcast rights to an event (Champions League Football for example) that is broadcast FTA in another territory (by a different broadcaster) then the viewer should subscribe to the local broadcaster in order to watch the event legally.

Is this not the case?
