End of D2Mac on 1 West

Two channels - 3+ and TV3 Denmark, have started digital transmissons on Sirius this week

Originally they were D2Mac only and so it looks like they may be retired on analogue before too long

3+ is presently in the clear as a digital transmission

Some posts in thread went missing but I now have an explanation for my (now missing) questions - I saw the explanation on another board.

Usually 3+ is encrypted in viaccess on 5E 11977v but sometimes is broadcast in the clear. I assume this is a technical error and not what 3+ intends.

If they are still supplying the subscribers in Scandinavia with boxes, there may be a delay in initiating the new cards straight after the swopout from analogue to digital, so the best route is to provide at least some of the content FTA

People, i have analog d2mac decoder: Philips ctu900 and analog reciver.
And there is 3+ channel available, frequency 11747H Thor satelite.
I can hear the sound very clear but the picture is coded.

The other analog d2mac chanels what i found are:
DR2 11434V
TV3DK 11338V
? 12598H (its gone since a few days)
3+ 11747H (as i already said)

It's a dying / dead transmission standard so you don't need to worry too much about it, however there are quite a few posts here covering it should you feel the urge.
